Ep.1: Hui Lok

I know they miss my voice like crazy, and I know they still feel guilty for not being there when I crossed the rainbow bridge. But honestly, I’m not mad at all. I know how much they love me. No matter where I am, I’ll always be their baby girl.“

The very first time I met Hui Lok, she actually bit me! 😡 But after she passed away, her mom reached out to see if I could make a custom family portrait.
I’ve always wanted to collect and share happy memories, because I truly believe those moments help carry us through life. When I was working on Hui Lok’s piece and listening to videos of her singing, I couldn’t help but tear up.

Dogs are just so pure and loyal. Looking back, I was never really mad about that bite, she wasn‘t trying to hurt me, she was just fiercely protecting her family. So thank you, Hui Lok, for helping me start Page 1 of Storyline.
