Do what you love, and it will make you shine.

Hi, I’m Ka! the heart behind Awaken by Sun. This little brand was born in a 100 sq. ft. flat in Hong Kong, sprouted during quiet evenings in the UK, and is now growing gently under the Canadian sun. It all began on a foldable table, the same table I ate on, worked on, and dreamt on. Watching how sunlight still slipped through narrow gaps between tall buildings, I realised: even the smallest corner can shine. That’s how Awaken by Sun was born.

 

Our Designs

Most ideas here come from everyday life.

From small, easily overlooked things.

From childhood drawings.

From careless little scribbles.

From gifts made for friends.

From fabric scraps that were too precious to throw away.

All of these became part of Awaken by Sun.

Soft colours are chosen to carry the warmth of sunlight, a feeling that doesn’t shout, but gently stays.

Every piece is made by hand, one by one.

Each stitch carries the rhythm of real hands.

Each piece grows into its own shape and character.

They don’t come out identical

and that’s exactly what handmade is meant to be.

Not perfect, but each one shining in its own way.
